Composer and pianist Tigran Hamasyan joins forces with filmmaker and visual artist Ruben Van Leer in a bold staged production, which premiered at the Holland Festival. The mythical bird—whose thousand songs travel the world to inspire harmony—unfolds across live music theater, a poetic online game, a kinetic art installation, and a series of cinematic chapters.

Enter The Kingdom, a poetic browser-based video game where players guide Prince Areg through mystical realms to awaken a celestial bird. Illustrated by Khoren Matevosyan. directed by Ruben Van Leer and powered by Tigran’s track, the game merges interactive storytelling with enchanted sound and symbol.
CINEMATIC CHAPTERS
Filmmaker Ruben Van Leer crafts a series of short films exploring the inner and outer journeys of The Bird. In the 2nd chapter, Sing Me a Song, an ancient manuscript and Armenia’s landscapes guide future Areg through a fractured world on the edge of renewal.
